Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy is designed to clearly describe how information is handled while protecting 1TouchLiving’s legitimate business, security, operational, and legal interests.
1. Scope of this Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how 1TouchLiving and 1TouchPortal collect, use, store, disclose, and protect information when clients, staff members, household representatives, vendors, or other authorized users access the website, portal, mobile experience, messaging features, service request tools, document areas, or related support services.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly, including name, email address, phone number, service address, company or household details, portal account information, service request details, home system information, notes, messages, uploaded files, photos, documents, support communications, emergency support details, scheduling preferences, and payment or subscription status information. Payment card details, when applicable, are processed by third-party payment providers and are not stored directly by us.
3. Information Collected Automatically
When you use the portal, we may automatically collect limited technical information such as device type, browser type, IP address, operating system, access times, pages viewed, feature usage, authentication activity, and log data needed to maintain security, diagnose issues, prevent misuse, and improve reliability.
4. Optional Speech Dictation and Bluetooth Features
The app may request microphone and speech recognition access only when you choose to use speech dictation to fill in messages, service request descriptions, or home notes. Spoken words are converted into editable text for the field you are using and are not used for advertising. The app may request Bluetooth access only when you choose the nearby-device check so support can help identify Bluetooth-enabled smart-home equipment for setup or diagnostics. Bluetooth scans are user-initiated and are used to detect the device you select for support purposes.
5. How We Use Information
We use information to provide and manage portal access, verify authorized users, coordinate service requests, schedule appointments, communicate with clients and staff, store home documentation, deliver emergency or priority support, manage subscriptions or service credits, send important account and service notifications, improve operations, protect the platform, investigate suspected misuse, enforce applicable policies, and comply with legal obligations.
6. Communications and Messaging
If you provide a phone number or email address, we may use it to send service-related communications, appointment updates, support messages, alerts, administrative notices, and responses to your inquiries. Message and data rates may apply for SMS communications. You may opt out of non-essential communications where available, but we may still send necessary service or account-related notices.
7. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with authorized staff, contractors, service technicians, technology providers, hosting providers, communications providers, payment processors, analytics or security vendors, professional advisors, or legal authorities when reasonably necessary to operate the portal, provide requested services, protect rights and safety, respond to lawful requests, complete business transactions, or comply with applicable law.
8. Service Providers
Third-party service providers may process information on our behalf only for authorized business purposes, such as hosting, database storage, authentication, email delivery, SMS delivery, payment processing, file storage, analytics, monitoring, and customer support. We take reasonable steps to work with providers that use appropriate safeguards.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no website, network, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.
10. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain accurate business and service records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, maintain security, and support legitimate business purposes. Some records may be retained after account closure where required or permitted by law.
11. User Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding certain personal information. We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request. Some requests may be limited where retention is required for security, legal, operational, accounting, warranty, dispute, or legitimate business purposes.
12. California and U.S. State Privacy Notices
Where applicable, residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights, including the right to know what personal information is collected, request correction or deletion, and opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information. Requests can be submitted through the contact method listed below.
13. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The portal may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies to support login sessions, preferences, security, analytics, and core functionality. Disabling these technologies may affect the availability or performance of certain portal features.
14. Children’s Privacy
The portal is intended for use by adults and authorized household or business representatives. It is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
15. Third-Party Links and Integrations
The portal may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of third-party services. Use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
16. Business Transfers
If 1TouchLiving is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
17. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the portal after an update means the revised policy applies to information collected and used as described.
18. Contact
For privacy questions, notices, or requests, contact the 1TouchLiving service team through the portal support page or your established client communication channel.
This policy is provided for business and operational transparency and should not be considered legal advice. You may have this policy reviewed by legal counsel for your specific jurisdiction and business requirements.
